The Smart TV can be connected to the sound bar via audio settings on the TV remote (look for HTS400 in Bluetooth mode) or you can connect your phone or tablet to the sound bar via Bluetooth for music.You are provided with coffee capsules in the Welcome pack and when you need more, they can be purchased in Lotus or Big C both of which are around 6-8 minutes drive away.
There is also a Cafetière/French press for ground coffee, ground coffee can also be found at the Lotus or Big C supermarket. The 7/11 opposite the Villa is a life saver for emergency provisions as well as basic non-prescription medication and is open 24 hours a day.
You will find a hairdryer in each of bedrooms as well as an ironing board and an iron in the master bedroom. In the master bedroom there is a safe inside the wardrobe, at check in you will be provided with a small key which will open the safe and you can then set your personal code to lock it.There are a small group of dogs in the neighbourhood who are extremely friendly, but we appreciate not everyone is necessarily a dog lover so please try to keep the gate closed when you can. Harold is our favourite and can always be found laying outside the entrance to 7/11 enjoying the cool air.
There is a basket in the living room for pool towels, we would really appreciate that guests use these for the pool and not the bath towels.As the living area is large and spacious with high ceilings, please be patient when turning on the air conditioning. We would also suggest closing the net curtains during the day when there is direct sunlight in the living room which will help keep the space nice and cool.
Villa Aurora has a big, lush garden and our amazing Gardner Khun Somporn comes 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) to water it and take care of it, so don’t be surprised if you see him, he speaks perfect English. He will always knock on the door or announce himself.
Koh Samui has some occasional power cuts and it usually only lasts for a short period of time, so please don’t be surprised.
